I got alot of stuff done on wednesday, 3 loads of laundry, vacuuming, scrubbing....and filling my new dresser up. It feels good to come home to a nice clean place. Tonight I'm loving the smell of fresh Downy everything, mmmmmmm. In a couple minutes I'll lay down, watch The Sopranos and fall asleep. I had a pretty good night. Tami's fat friends and boyfriend tried to ruin it by ordering a bunch of food and walking out w/o paying but my boss said I can officially 86 them. I just have to laugh at ignorant people like them. Some hot guys from out of town came in and promised to come back again to see me, yum-O! "O" made me some more zuchinni bread, it's so good with melted butter on it. Liz's Mom has been makng homemade soup for the bar. My fave is Cream of Broccoli ~ I can eat it everyday at this point. I'd like for her to make a nice corn/potato chowder sometime. I brought my Dale Earnhardt Jr. Trick-or-Treat bucket to work ~ so far it only has some suckers and butterscotch candy in it. I'll add some tootsie rolls and bubble gum to it eventually and the closer it gets to Halloween, I'll add some chocolate bars and whatnot. I got some Choxie truffled candies from Target and I'm devouring the mint ones like crazy. I tend to snack when the weather gets colder. Alright, time to settle in for the night. It's just been non-stop lately! Whip, whirl, spin, twirl. Gosh, where do I begin? I hardly got any good sleep all weekend. I was woken up at 6:20am monday morning. Ella was ready to go to Spokane for a fun-filled day of shopping. I had a blast and bought some cool things, my favorite being a rockin' purse. It was a total splurge but I just love it! I rushed back to work (80 miles away) and was still late. I called my boss, Denise to explain that I was late. We had a good talk and I feel a little better about my job security. It's been hella-crazy there lately. I got off work and got online last night and was IMed by a friend in Anchorage. He's now living in Antartica. I think he's crazy but it's just until March 2008. He's an air traffic controller. I was teasing him that he must have really pissed somebody off to go from Alaska to Antartica. Anyhooo~ I hardly got any sleep and then the early morning phone calls started coming in. Finally Ella came over around 11am to give me some boots and clothes and she took me to retrieve my car. Then we did some more shopping. I'm getting quite the wardrobe. I also bought a nice dresser. I did miss my dr. and dentists appt's. Sheesh, now I'll have to wait some more. I still need to pick up my eyeglasses. Work was slow, thankfully. I hope I can get some good sleep tonight (this morning). I found out that my boss, DeWayne's girlfriend broke up with him. He's been cheating on her. Heck, he cheated onhis wife with her, so it shouldn't surprise her that he cheated on her. She's taking it hard and is trying to get back at him by telling everyone that he's dying of cancer. I guess it's true but he didn't want anyone to know. I'm freaking out about it. I don't want to say anything, in case it's a lie but I kinda doubt it is. I hope not. Well, let's see...October 9th marked my 7 year anniversary of being baptized. What a special day. Alrighty, I'm exhausted. Time to hit the sack. I'll check back later. Nighty ~ night.

I had to work friday night with the new bartender, Tammy. She's cool. It was pretty busy. The local football team won and everyone was in a partying mood. Saturday was excellent! My pal, Vicki, invited me on a huge houseboat. The thing had 2 bathrooms, a jacuzzi and several bedrooms. It was fun! I ended up going out on the speed boat for awhile. I got to drive it! I drank bubbly and took lots of pictures. I left my car at the boat dock, I still need to retrieve it. I came back to my apt. last night, took a nap and then "O" came and got me. We met up with a cowboy named, Fritz, at my bar. We went out to the cider festival's beer garden. They had a live band and we had fun dancing. "O" and I were both pining for Fritz. In the end, I just had them drop me off at my place. I slept in today and woke up to watch the NASCAR race. Oh, I love watching Dale Jr.! He was having a pretty good day, leading for many laps then his dang engine blew. DEI had a bad day today. The race was exciting as all git go! I thought Tony Stewart would win, then Jimmie Johnson was leading and BANG! Out of nowhere comes Jeff Gordon to cross the finish line first! Holy Cow! I know a couple people from here who went to Talladega for the race. Lucky, lucky, lucky. I'm going to wear my Talladega shirt tonight at work. I almost got to see a race there back in 2004. Junior won that day. I made it all the way to the Birmingham airport, ticket and pit pass in hand. I was left stranded there, so I never made it to the race. My ex got me a shirt though. Anyhoooo ~ I had a fabulous weekend. Well, time to get ready for work. Hopefully Ella will come to get me and we can get my car. Thanks for the well wishes! 2 years, wow. Seems longer. I just bought the Journey CD "The Essentials". 32 songs of pure bliss! So many of these songs have been with me since puberty on up. Some songs have brought tears to my eyes. Wow, that's a great band 'eh! Steve Perry's 5 octave voice will always burn love into my soul! Same with Ann Wilson of HEART. There's songs that bring you right back to a certain time....and this CD has left me giddy, I swear. There is a song for every period in your life it seems. When I'm at work I play these songs on the jukebox: Puff Daddy's "I'll be missing you", always thinking of Poppy Lanier on that one. "Reeling in the Years" Steely Dan. Disturbed "Down with the sickness", Randy Travis "Forever & Ever Amen". Naturally I play POISON throughout the night. A song that always seems to be played is Buck Cherry's "Crazy Bitch". I cap the night off with Louis Armstrong "Wonderful Life". I'll play that at my wedding and funeral. If you wanna make 'ol Trixie cry, the star spangled banner and it's a wonderful life will do it. I just realized...today is my 2 year anniversary on Blogstream! Wow! Has it been that long? Looking back, I have gone through so dang much since then. I'm still not exactly where I need to be, yet.
